Over the river and thru the woods to grandmother's house we go

Today Daddy drove mommy and I to grandma and grandad's house.  We seriously went over a river and thru the woods to get to their house.  This was my 1st time there.  Every time grandma and grandad saw me, it's been at my house.  So I got to see where they live and where daddy grew up.  

2 doctor visits in one day - what were they thinking again!

Today I had my therapist appointment and my eye doctor appointment.  2 appointments + 2 doctors = too many in one day.

This was a tough day.  Last week was a holiday so I didn't have my physical therapy that week.  So today when I went I was fighting with Ms. Shannon.  I didn't want to do my exercises.  When she turned my head to the left I fought back and turned to the right.  Mommy was so shocked by my non-cooperation this week.  It was almost like we went backwards two weeks instead of forward. Mommy told Ms. Shannon that we were going to work hard during the week and do better at the next therapy session.

Also, today I went to the eye doctor.  I was real fussy by this appointment and I really didn't get my naps in like I should have today.  The pediatric eye doctor gave me a thumbs up on my eyes. Even though they still dialate differently he said they are responding the way they should be.   I still have to go back in a month to get re-looked at again.  I'll be so glad when I don't have to goto so many doctors.

 

My visit to Cranial Technologies

Today mommy took me to a place called Cranial Technologies.  I still have a flat spot on the right side of my head.  So my Doctor and therapist referred me and mommy took me.  Apparently I tilt my head to the right all the time and the flattening on the right side is making my ears and eyes shift to the point that they are a little uneven.  Cranial technologies recommend that I get a helmet or "Doc Band" to correct it.   I don't understand everything but whatever happens, I know my mommy and daddy are doing it for me because the love me.

Pictures, Pictures and more pictures!

Mommy took me to Picture People today to get my 3 month photos taken.   They turned out ok. She's going to show them to daddy and then they will pick out the ones they want to buy. 

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today is mommy's birthday.  She said she's only 29.  Such a young mommy.  Daddy said she's been 29 for the last 4 years that he's known her.  I don't know what that means.  

Anyway, daddy and I were going to take mommy out to dinner.  But the weather got really bad.  It was sleeting outside and the newscasters said not to go out if you didn't have to.  They said the roads were like a sheet of glass.  We didn't want to risk it so we're taking mommy out tomorrow.

Daddy did have a cake for her and she got to blow out her candles.  That was really neat.  Mommy said in 9 months I get my own cake to eat.  I don't know what cake tastes like but mommy had more than one piece so it must be good.

For mommy's 29th birthday, she got flowers, cake, balloons, and presents.

3 months old already!

I'm 3 months already!  Where does the time go?  I didn't go to the peditrician this month.  I don't go again until I'm 4 months old so I don't have any updates.  Mommy did take me to the pedi when I had a really bad breakout of cradle cap and Excema.  She'll talk about that in my 3 month summary.   

For my 3 month milestone, mommy took a whole bunch of photos of me.  (we're talking 100) She had all these props for me and she also used black and white backgrounds to see how the pictures would turn out.  Overall, they turned out good.  I love smiling but when mommy puts the camera in my face I get serious.  But she caught me on these 2.   Don't I look silly?
