My diaper days are coming to an end

Mommy and Daddy decided that when my diapers ran out they would start me on Pull ups. I know that part of potty training is me pulling up and down my pants. If I have diapers on, I just can't pull it off. So mommy's really excited and has been talking about pull ups all week. And you know, I'm kind of excited too.

Gluten Free cake mix

So mommy went to Wegman's a few weeks ago and found this Gluten Free cake mix from Betty Crocker. She was so excited about it but unfortunately, the receipe called for eggs and I'm allergic to eggs so mommy didn't buy it. I ended up going to Maw-Maw K's house and she found the same cake mix but she bought it. She substituted apple sauce for the eggs. I LOVED my cake. Maw-Maw told mommy how much I loved it so mommy immediately went to Wegman's and bought the cake mix. She's still so new at all the allergies I have and she had no idea that she could substitute apple sauce for the eggs. Lesson learned. Thanks Maw-maw for the tip. :)

An early Easter present

Gluten Free ice cream cones

Mommy went to Wegman's and bought me some Gluten Free ice cream cones. All the cones that mommy looked at in other grocery stores contain wheat and soy. I'm not allowed to have either so mommy found these. They are so good as you can see in my pictures I really enjoyed it. I must have said mmmmm good a million times.

Famous Dave's

Tonight we went to Famous Dave's for dinner. Mommy and daddy talked to the server. We wanted to order the grilled chicken. They told the server about my food allergies and the server seemed very concerned. She told us that the grilled chicken that is on the menu was basted with soy and other ingredients. So she said she would get us a plain grilled chicken instead. Mommy and daddy were really impressed with her. Every once in a while she'd stop by and check on me. Her name was Autum and she made silly faces, tickled me and made me laugh. Mommy and daddy got to eat their entire meal since she preoccupied me so well. You know how it is, when I'm done eating so are mommy and daddy. They have no choice what so ever. :)

Today I got a package in the mail from Mrs. Martha. She sent me a Christmas present. She figured we'd see her by now but since we haven't had a chance to meet up, she figured she might as well send it. That was so nice of her. She sent me "CARS" stuff. I love the movie CARS and I love Mator, McQueen, Doc, Chick, King, etc. VROOM, VROOM!!!

Happy Birthday Grandad!

Today is my grandad's birthday. So I called him on the phone and sang Happy Birthday to him.

Momma's got a video us singing Happy B-day to him at the cabin but she's not sure she will be able to upload it so she's going to have to get me to do it on her camera and will post it here soon.

I do a really good job of singing it.

Today was a nice day out so we decided to go outside and do some yard work. Daddy was raking up the the grass getting rid of all the yellow dead grass. Since it had rained a few days ago, there were a bunch of worms hanging out. Mommy said she use to dig in her backyard as a kid in PX looking for worms to go fishing with. So mommy picked up the worm and put it in her hand. Then she looked at me and said, here Cody hold this. Oh no momma! No! I never once put that thing in my hand.

Mommy's note: I must admit, I'm shocked that Cody didn't want to hold a worm. I thought all little boys loved worms. Hmmm, maybe he's still to young.

Daddy, there's a bug in my bed!

Today was daylight savings time. Our clocks sprung forward so we lost an hour of sleep. Cody woke up at 7am which would have been 6am and I just wasn't ready to get up yet. So Ken got up and went to go get Cody. I thought it would be cute to watch them on the baby monitor. This is what happened.

Cody: Good morning Daddy.

Ken: Good morning Cody.

Cody: Bug in bed.

Ken: What?

Cody: Bug in bed.

Ken proceeds to pull back Cody's covers looking under them and around the bed.

Ken: Cody, there's no bug in your bed.

Cody then takes the covers and lifts them up. He points down to his bed and again says,

Bug in bed.

Ken bends down and picks up what Cody is pointing to. He analyzes it and then says,

Cody, that's a booger.

I totally started laughing. Ken then takes Cody out of his crib, changes his diaper and Cody runs into our bedroom to give me a big good morning mommy hug. God I love this boy!

A weekend at the cabin

This weekend we went to the cabin in PA. We hung out with Maw-Maw, grandad, Uncle Rick and Tracy. We took a hike and afterward I slept for like 4 hours. This was a weekend of good food and some rest and relaxation.
