Happy Anniversary mommy and daddy

Today is mommy and daddy's 3rd Anniversary.  They can hardly believe it.  3 years ago they were in Vegas and now, we're a family of "3".  

I said......

Man, I'm really pumping out the words this month.  Today I said the words "mine" and "bear bear".   Mommy was wondering when "MINE" was going to appear.  She wonder's if everything will be "MINE" now instead of "DOG".  I usually point to anything and everything and say "DOG" so it will be fun to see if that changes.

So in the month of April, I've started saying the following words: ruff-ruff, meow-meow, cheese, mine, bear bear, baby, ball, nose and shoes.

Weekend in PA

This weekend we went to PA to see Grandma and Granddad.  We had a good time.  Mommy and daddy bought me a play-yard.  They put it together and before I realized it, I was surrounded by gates.  It made a big circle so now I can't run off on them anymore.  I'm caged in but you know it was actually kind of fun.  Mommy put a bunch of toys in with me and I enjoyed throwing each and every one of them out of my play-yard.

So here's a quick overview of the weekend:

4/24 - I said the word "ball"

4/25 - hung out with family.  Grandma made me special veggie soup with my special gluten free noodles.  It was yummy!

4/26 - I said the word "baby" 

Today we went to Knoebel's park.  Daddy took me to the kiddie section.  It was awesome!!!  I got to ride in a sports car with mommy.  I was turning the wheel and driving.  I also rode on the carasole which was really scary at first.  I so didn't want to ride it but daddy stood by me and mommy was on the horse next to me.  Mommy was all excited to take photos of me but it turns out the batteries in the camera were dead so mommy didn't get one photo of me at the park.  She was a little upset but knew that we'll be coming back in the summer so she'll get some photos of me then.

We left later that afternoon and headed home.  To everyone's surprise, the entire weekend was in the 90's.  YEA!!!.  And my Eczema didn't flare up once this weekend.  It was so nice not to scratch.     

Clinic visit

So mommy took me to the clinic today to talk to the doctor about my ankles and wrists.  Since my ezcema is flaring up I keep scratching my ankles and wrists until they bleed.  The doctors don't want me to keep scratching because I could get an infection.  Since mommy can't get me to stop she had to take me in to see if there was anything the doctors could help me with.  They told mommy to give me some medication to calm the itching urge and continue with the steroid creams to clear up the scratches.  Hopefully one day, I'll get past all of this.

Working on the house then taking a rest

So daddy has decided to re-do our deck.  Since the weather is getting nicer (finally) daddy wants us to eat outside on our deck.  But the deck is old and has tons of splinters so daddy decided to replace it with new "plastic" wood so I will never ever get a splinter.   Check out daddy's progress.

on to our patio.  Now how are we going to get rid of it?

   There's daddy working on the deck.  Not only is he replacing 

  floor but he decided to do the entire deck.  So far it looks really nice.

Eating my Easter cupcakes

Mommy made me cupcakes for Easter since every piece of chocolate she tried to buy me had soy in it.  And of course, I'm allergic to soy.  So....mommy made me these very tasty GF/soy free/egg free/peanut free chocolate cupcakes.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

I said "1"

Today mommy and daddy took me out to dinner.  They had to bring some of my special food but the resturant we went to had a buffet which included white rice, grapes, & melons.  I ate and ate and ate.    I had a great time.  Afterward we went to Lowe's.  Daddy was pushing the shopping cart and mommy was talking to me.  Mommy likes to say words out loud to see if I copy her.  This time she said "1" and I said "1" back.  Yea!!!!  

So these are the words I can say now.

Hi, Da-da, dog, ma-ma, water,  pasta, no, uh-oh, and one

Today mommy and daddy took me to the park.  There were swings and slides.  It was so much fun!  Daddy showed me 2 slides.  1 I can do myself and the other I need daddy with me.  Check this out!

Easter egg hunt and the Easter Bunny

So today mommy, daddy, grandma and Aunt Wendy took me to an Easter egg hunt in our community.  There were a bunch of kids and there were a ton of eggs.  I only got 4 but it was fun running around.

So, after the Easter egg hunt, the Easter bunny was inside waiting for us.  I stood in a long line and when it was my turn I had second thoughts.

Oh no she didn't just sit me on this crazy bunny's lap.  WhaaaaSo this was me last year.  He obviously didn't bother me then.  So why is he bothering me this year?  

So mommy took me off his lap and I feel so much better.  Maybe next year I'll like him again.
