swimming pool

Mommy took me to the pool today. I got to swim in the big pool and the baby pool. In the big pool there is a large section that 2 ft and 3 ft deep. I can walk around in the pool for a while until I have to hold onto mommy. I decided that I wasn't going to use my floaties while in the big pool and I did really good. I only went under 4 times and that was not on purpose. I tripped twice and missed mommy's hands twice but she was right there to grab me. Once I realized what happened, mommy said good job, you did it Cody. "I did it!" But I don't want to do it again. Ha-ha! Soon after, the life guard blew the whistle and all the kids had to get out of the pool. So I immediately ran over to the baby pool. I like the baby pool because I can swim without going under the water.

I really enjoy swimming and I can't wait till daddy sees me in the pool. Maybe this weekend.

So wanting a John Deer

Everytime mommy takes me to Walmart or Toys R Us, I always seem to find the car section. And everytime I have to pretend ride one. This time it's the John Deer tractor. I desperately want this vehicle!!

Struck it gold at the mall

Mommy, Aunt We-we and Grandma took me to the mall today. I was so excited when I came across these cool mechanical vehicles. Mommy didn't have any change but Aunt We-we did. She paid for all my rides. Thanks Aunt We-we. I had a blast!

Jessica's Birthday

Today is my cousin Jessica's birthday party. I love birthday parties! We drove 2 hours to get there but it was so worth it cause I had a ton of fun.

She wore me out!

I didn't think she could do it but she did. Mommy wore me out! She took me to the pool and I swam, and swam, and swam. Now I'm sleeping, sleeping, sleeping!

More flowers

When daddy finishes renovating the basement bathroom, mommy is going to pick her 4 to 6 favorite flower photos. She will either do 4X6 or 5X7's depending on the space on the wall and frame the photos for artwork in the bathroom. Mommy is really excited about it but it will be a few more months before she completes the project since right now mommy is trying to figure out who's going to babysit me while Mrs. Lusine goes on vacation. Obviously if mommy has to take off work to babysit me I'm not going to let her do an art project when it's pool season right now. :) She can work on it during the winter months when we're stuck inside. Ha-ha!
