The good news is, that the doctor said I don't have any problems at the moment but we did make a followup appointment in 1 month to make sure. Lets all keep our fingers crossed that my eyes are perfectly fine.

2 doctor visits in one day - what were they thinking?
Today was a rough day for me. Not only did I have my 2nd therapy session which by the way, I did very well at, I had an eye doctor visit. Whenever mommy feeds me, she notices that my right eye dialates bigger than my left eye. She doesn't think that's normal so she made me a doctor appointment to the pediatric opthomologist. There were lots of kids there when we got there but I was the youngest and the cutest of course. Our appointment was at 3:15 but the doctor was a little behind schedule. So I decided to drink some formula. Daddy fed me and when I was done daddy had the funniest look on his face. He told mommy to smell me. Hee - hee I left a big one for them to clean up. Anyway, I finally got to sit in this big chair with my dad. He held me the whole time the eye doctor was looking at me. My daddy has been to the eye doctor a lot so I felt really secure in his arms. Mommy has never been to the eye doctor so she was asking the doctor a lot of questions.

1st therapy appointment
Today I had my 1st physical therapy appointment. My therapist name is Shannon and she is really nice. She talked with my mommy for awhile and them she took a look at me. Then she did a few exercises with me to see what problems I have. Turns out I have plagiocephaly which is a flatting of the head and left torticollis which is tightness in the left side of the neck. She gave mommy some exercises to do at home to work on my neck muscles and then we meet with her every week to work on those exercises to see if I'm making progress. The exercises don't seem hard and I think mommy will have no problem doing them with me. We'll keep you posted.

2 month Doctor visit
Today I had my 2 month doctor visit. It started off good but in the end, I got 4 shots and a liquid medicine to drink. YUCK! Overall my doctor appointment went well.
Here are my stats:
Weight: 13 lbs 13 oz
Length: 24 inches
Head: 38 cm
The doctor said I'm doing good so far but he referred me to a physical therapist to work on my neck. Right now I have a flat spot on the right side of my head. I tend to favor my right side and don't really turn to my left. The doctor said they will monitor my situation and if my flat spot doesn't start to go away I'll have to wear a helmet. I hope I don't have to wear a helmet. But if I do, that's ok, I'll still be the cutiest boy in the neighborhood.
