The allergist - I'm not happy!

So today was a long day.  Mommy and I left PA this morning.  We made pretty good time coming home but I had to Dr. appointments today.  One at Cranial Tech for my bi-weekly adjustment and the other is the allergist.  Cranial tech was no big deal.  Ms. Cheryl is so good to me.  But the pediatric allergist was another story.  I was referred to him by Dr. Hogan who checked me out when I had the purple feet.  Ya, I know, sounds crazy but my feet turned purple a few weeks ago.  I think I mentioned it in an older post.  Anyway, mommy got scared and took me to the Dr and she was the doctor on call.    So she looks at my feet and said that was normal.  Weird huh?  She was more concerned with my Excema and said there's gotta be a reason why I'm so flared up so she referred me to an allergist so here I am.

You know, the guy seemed nice but mommy had to do a lot of explaining.  Like why I was here at such a young age and what things she thinks flare me up.  It's really hard to say since I've had excema since I was 1 month old and I never had any food but formula then.  We hope I don't have a milk allergy but anyway, although the doctor is the expert, it was the nurse who I spent most of my time with and she was the one that pricked me.   I did like her until then.  They did 2 types of tests.  Mommy doesn't exactly know what they are called but one was were they pricked me on the back with multiple little needles.  That didn't hurt at all.  My back is so dry, I didn't feel a thing.  It was the 2nd test that really hurt.  That's were they narrowed down  the allergies and individually injected me in the arm with them to see how my body would react.  Sure enough the ones that affected me the most appeared like misquito bites on my arm.  So the nurse pricked me and OUCH!!!!  It hurt so bad.  I looked at mommy with he biggest, saddest watery eyes and all mommy could do was hold me and love me.  It was very important to find out what I was allergic to so we could eliminate it from my diet.  It turns out....I'm allergic to peanuts, wheat, egg white, trees and dust mites.  Thank goodness I'm not allergic to dogs and cats cause we have our dog bear at home and mommy's friends all have cats.   Mommy asked the doctor if those trees included PALM TREES???  NOPE!  Only the trees in this region. Well, I'm really glad this day is over and I don't ever want to come back to this doctor again.
